Plot summary
A babysitter, Miranda, comes over to take care of a girl, Danielle, who insists that her large collection of dolls must stay locked up at all times. When the case is accidentally left unlocked one of the dolls seemingly gets out and things are broken, objects moved, etc. Then the other dolls get out as well and start attacking Miranda and Danielle. Miranda discovers that Danielle has a collection of the driver's licenses and other belongings of Danielle's past babysitters who each bear an uncanny resemblance and have the same name as one of the dolls. Miranda realizes that the dolls are actually the past babysitters who Danielle turned into dolls so they would not leave. A short time later, Danielle's parents arrive home to find Danielle alone with no sign of Miranda. Danielle's doll collection also includes a new doll which bears a striking resemblance to Miranda.
